I started this last Sept. for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I couldn't find the "JUST Right" Picture until I was working on a scrapbook for my brother when I found this picture of Tammi.
Tammi, lost her battle with Breast / Lung Cancer on Nov. 26, 2014. She never gave up and never lost her faith. I miss her every day all day.
I used Martha Stewart stencils for the fern and the roses. Tammi loved silver/ Mauve Roses and butterflies. The pinks in the background are a mixture of Twinkling H2O's, and color art silks. A little bit of lace and ribbons, and a 3 x 4 card. I added some metallic flakes to give the roses a bit of sparkle.

LIfe
Hi, thanks for visiting.
This journal page was my take from Terri Sproul's Tuesday nite Live Videos on Jan 26, 2016 "mixed Media Journal". I did the background several months ago trying to use up leftover silks (I have No clue what colors are involved) The Flower stencil is FolkArt Home Decor "Camelia" I used colour Art silks for both flowers with a touch of Autumn Butternut primary pigment for the center of the flower on the right. The butterfly is a wooden embellishment painted with DecoArt Dazzling Metallics and the sentiment is from Hampton Art.
Colour Art Silks: Iridescent Gold Mixed with Primary Pigment Autumn Butternut, Evening Primrose, Pink Grapefruit, Rustic Rose, Apple Blossom, Mallard Green, Vintage Mint and Black Ice.
DecoArts Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl and Teal.
India Ink for the sentiment.

Be Yourself ........... Dare to Be Different
Jan. 27, 2016 .... Just completed the finishing touches on my newest journal page: Be Yourself ..... Dare to be Different.
My pages had already been gesso'd. I started with Dylusions stencil " Leaf Flourish - Large" applying Gesso for texture with a make-up Triangle. After that dried I put my second layer on using Distress Stains: Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon which I applied with a paper towel. After that I wiped the center of the leaves removing most of the color, then I applied Bundled sage and Forest Moss over the entire page again using a paper towel. After that dried I used the blues again around the edges.
I then cut out trees, Owls and grass using my Cricut Explore Air and Cricut Design space. Some of the Owls are layered most are print and cut. All the trees and grass are layered.
I used two different stamp sets: Inkadinkado "Meadow" under the grass and Penny Black "Enjoy Life" for the trees in the background and the wheat grass at the bottom of the page. I used India Ink and the large Black Archival Ink pad. I fussy cut several of the background trees to use as masks to get the depth of the forest.
I painted the flowers and some of the background stamped grass using Distress paint Dusty Concord, Mowed Lawn, Ripe Persimmon and Salty Ocean. For the different color flower I used Adirondack Raspberry Acrylic paint.
The black speckles are Dylusions Black Marble and I sprayed the entire page with Perfect Pearls Mists "Heirloom Gold"
I finished the edges with Vintage photo.

Starry, Starry, Night
This was suppose to be my Christmas card in an art Journal dedicated to my sister and for Facebook, what can I say I procrastinated. (I'm really good at that.)
The background sky has 5 colors of acrylic paints in various shades of dark blue. The ground was a mixture of beiges, also acrylic paints with a handful of kiddie sand mixed in for texture. The nativity cut out and the words are from Cricut Design studio. This was my first attempt at using the writing feature with the Cricut, I'm really like the outcome of the words. The smaller stars are cut from CuttleBug snowflake #2 painted with florescent yellow and glitter gold acrylic paint. And the words are finished with Glamour dust Silver Bling glitter acrylic paint.

Find a Reason to Smile
This journal page started after the live video class with Terri Sproul on resist medium. I did the circles, then added the background color , it's one of the Lindy Stamp Gang's flat sprays. Then I just left it. I finally decided it was time to finish the page. I added stamps and color to the stamps, then the sentiment, then used the 3d crystal over the bubbles and finally sprayed the page with Tattered Angels gold spray mist.
